The line of cars stretched around the block for today's ribbon cutting at the new @7brewcoffee in Madison (3915 Lien Road). In addition to celebrating their grand opening, the team at 7 Brew presented @gigis_playhouse_madison with a check for more than $16,000 raised through the Caffeine for a Cause fundraiser earlier this month. The future of energy is here, and Wisconsin is leading the way. Earlier this week, coinciding with #FusionEnergyWeek2026, hundreds of industry leaders, investors, policymakers and experts in the fusion industry came together on the @uwmadison campus for the Great Lakes Fusion Energy Summit. Wisconsin's unique combination of research, talent and precision manufacturing already makes the state a global leader in the fusion industry, which is estimated to reach as much as $550 billion annually by the 2050s. Since its start as a pilot program in 2014, the @madisonreadingproject has fostered curiosity, listening, trust and collaboration to provide free books and literacy resources to young readers. Today, the organization expanded its mission with the opening of a new facility in Fitchburg. Attendees heard from Fitchburg Mayor Julia Silvina Arata-Fratta, @countyexecutivemelissaagard and members of the Madison Reading Project leadership team.
