The Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce stands as the preeminent business voice for the Madison, Wisconsin community, dedicated to fostering prosperity and opportunity that drives community wealth and helps the region reach its full potential. Central to its mission is the "Beam" platform, which strategically focuses on four pillars: defining and amplifying the region's brand, driving economic growth through initiatives and resources, advocating for business interests at all levels of government, and connecting members to invaluable resources and new opportunities.
The Chamber is deeply committed to empowering its diverse membership, recognizing them as the leaders and innovators shaping Greater Madison's economic future. It provides a robust framework for businesses to thrive, offering networking events, a comprehensive business directory, and specialized programs like DIJE and LGM. By leveraging the collective strength of its members and championing innovation, the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce plays a crucial role in building a dynamic and prosperous business environment for the entire community.

The future of energy is here, and Wisconsin is leading the way. Earlier this week, coinciding with #FusionEnergyWeek2026, hundreds of industry leaders, investors, policymakers and experts in the fusion industry came together on the @uwmadison campus for the Great Lakes Fusion Energy Summit. Wisconsin's unique combination of research, talent and precision manufacturing already makes the state a global leader in the fusion industry, which is estimated to reach as much as $550 billion annually by the 2050s. After opening remarks from @govevers, attendees at Tuesday's summit got up-to-the-minute access to the developments shaping the state's growing fusion energy hub through networking, panel discussions and tours of fusion labs. Thanks to event organizer 5 Lakes Institute, all the event sponsors and our partners in the Wisconsin Fusion Energy Coalition for supporting this important work. @uwmadengr @warf_news @wedccommunity

As we reflect on this event after nearly two weeks, it's clear that the conversations set in motion on the floor of the Kohl Center will not end now. The greatest risk is that we only go through the motions. Get ready for the next Chamber event — on April 28, business leaders from across the region will discuss our new advocacy agenda at Advocacy in the A.M.
