The Book Deal is an independent, used bookstore located in Madison, WI, dedicated to enriching the community through the power of reading. Our primary ambition is to foster literacy by providing affordable and free access to a wide selection of pre-loved books. We believe that every book purchased contributes to a greater good, making quality literature accessible to all.
A core part of our mission involves a unique community initiative: for every purchase made at The Book Deal, we are able to give away five free children's books per child per visit. This direct impact allows our customers to become active participants in promoting accessible literacy throughout Madison. We are continuously working to establish additional partnerships and welcome suggestions to expand our reach.
