Angel's Wish Pet Adoption and Resource Center is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization in Verona, WI, dedicated to reducing animal overpopulation, rehoming companion animals, and raising awareness of animal welfare issues in South Central Wisconsin. As cat specialists, they passionately connect families with their ideal feline companions, facilitating personalized attention and enjoyable adoption experiences. In 2024, they successfully adopted out 949 cats and kittens, operating as a "limited-admission" and "no-kill" shelter, ensuring every animal receives the care they need without euthanasia for space.
Beyond adoptions, Angel's Wish serves as a valuable resource center for the community. They take in over 1,000 cats annually from various sources, including Good Samaritans, TNR efforts, owner surrenders, and transfers from other rescues. The center also provides practical services like cat nail trimming and offers specialty products such as sturdy scratching posts, promoting responsible pet ownership and enhancing the well-being of cats in their care and in the community.
