Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance (SoWBA), formerly Madison Audubon, is a dynamic and nationally-accredited land trust dedicated to protecting and improving habitat for birds and other wildlife across south-central Wisconsin. Established in 1935 as the Madison Bird Club, SoWBA is recognized as a leader in land stewardship, managing thousands of acres across four wildlife sanctuaries and assisting private landowners with restoration projects. Our mission extends beyond land management to encompass comprehensive education and advocacy efforts.
