The Badger Childhood Cancer Network (BCCN) is a vital organization based in Madison, WI, dedicated to supporting families whose children are battling cancer or life-threatening blood disorders. Serving over 30 counties, BCCN partners with the American Family Children’s Hospital, a UW-Hospital and Clinics affiliate, to provide crucial assistance to approximately 100 newly diagnosed children each year, alongside hundreds more undergoing ongoing treatment or experiencing relapse.
BCCN understands the immense challenges families face, including the significant financial burden, with many experiencing a 40% loss in income during the first year of diagnosis.
