Marking a decade of touring, Madison-based funk-fusion group Wurk is partnering with the 17-piece DB Orchestra for a collaborative concert series titled WURKestra. The project debuts on October 16, 2026, at the Barrymore Theatre in Madison, featuring orchestral arrangements of Wurk’s original repertoire alongside newly composed material. Arranged by mutual member and saxophonist Daniel Haschke, the performance launches a limited regional tour that includes subsequent stops in Milwaukee and Appleton.
