Presented by *The Progressive* and WORT-FM, this event features a screening of *STEAL THIS STORY, PLEASE!*, a documentary exploring the 30-year career of journalist Amy Goodman and the impact of *Democracy Now!*. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Goodman and the film’s Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning directors, Tia Lessin and Carl Deal. The film examines the vital role of independent media in the face of contemporary political and environmental crises.
