The Madison Symphony Orchestra opens its season with a performance featuring acclaimed violinist Joshua Bell, conducted by Music Director Emeritus John DeMain. The French-themed program features Bell as soloist in Édouard Lalo’s *Symphonie espagnole* and Jules Massenet’s "Meditation" from *Thaïs*. The concert also includes orchestral performances of Paul Dukas’s *The Sorcerer’s Apprentice* and Maurice Ravel’s *Boléro*.
