The Goodman Community Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Madison, WI, has been strengthening lives and securing futures since 1954. Evolving from the Atwood Community Center, it has grown into a cherished resource housed in two beautiful historic buildings, Ironworks and Brassworks. This vibrant hub offers innovative, research-based programs focused on connection, courage, and curiosity for all ages, from preschoolers to older adults.
Goodman provides a wide array of essential services designed to enrich the community. These include comprehensive programs for children and teens to develop life skills, activities that keep older adults connected and engaged, and critical support through the Fritz Food Pantry. The center also promotes health and wellness with its Lussier Fitness Center and hosts community events, classes, and gatherings in its versatile spaces.
