DreamBikes Madison is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to empowering local teens through hands-on, paid job training while providing affordable, quality bicycles to the community. As the original DreamBikes location, established in 2008, the Madison store has been a leader in community outreach and excellent customer service. Teens employed by DreamBikes learn valuable skills in bicycle refurbishment, point-of-sale software operation, and customer service, fostering lifelong development and bright futures.
Beyond its social mission, DreamBikes Madison operates as a full-service bike shop open to everyone. They expertly refurbish and sell a wide inventory of used bikes, making cycling accessible and sustainable. The shop also offers comprehensive repair services, from basic tune-ups to complete overhauls, performed by trained mechanics. Customers can find a full selection of new parts and accessories, alongside unique gently used items, to build or enhance their bikes.
Further enhancing its community commitment, DreamBikes Madison provides a convenient mobile repair service, bringing expert bike maintenance directly to customers. Through its dual focus on youth development and sustainable cycling, DreamBikes Madison continues to make a significant positive impact, having refurbished over 25,000 bikes and provided transformational experiences for hundreds of teens.
