The resort prides itself on its highly trained and certified staff, who undergo rigorous training in dog body language, group management, and canine health, including a minimum of 40 hours of one-on-one training before supervising groups. Dogs are carefully grouped by size, energy, and play style, maintaining low staff-to-dog ratios to closely monitor appropriate play. Owner Karen Schultz brings extensive experience, having founded Key to Happiness Rescue, which successfully placed over 3,000 dogs, and her passion for animal welfare is evident in the resort's operations. The grooming team provides individualized, stress-reducing care by focusing on one dog at a time.
