Admiral Radio is an award-winning folk/Americana duo from Columbia, South Carolina, comprised of the husband-and-wife team Coty Hoover and Becca Smith. Named after a vintage radio with a personal family connection, their music is characterized by heartfelt harmonies, compelling storytelling, and raw sincerity. Their sound, rooted in tight vocal interplay and finely picked acoustic instruments, draws inspiration from everyday life, exploring themes of life lessons, the quiet hustle of ordinary existence, and an enduring optimism.
