ZZ Top, formed in Houston in 1969, has maintained a significant presence in the rock and blues genres for over five decades. The band gained national recognition with their 1973 album _Tres Hombres_, featuring the iconic track "La Grange," and achieved commercial success with their 1983 album _Eliminator_, which was certified Diamond for exceeding 10 million sales in the U.S. Following the passing of longtime bassist Dusty Hill, Elwood has stepped in to continue the band's legacy, which includes a vast touring history and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
