The Troubadours of Rhythm, led by Milwaukee musician Jon Mroz, will present a performance that explores the musical styles of the late 1920s and early 1930s, drawing from the rich traditions of Chicago and Milwaukee jazz. This five-piece ensemble features a diverse array of instruments, including guitar, banjo, upright bass, piano, cornet, clarinet, trombone, and washboard, and aims to revive the syncopated rhythms and melodies characteristic of early jazz and blues.
