The Lilies of the Midwest X Slipjig is a concert featuring the Madison, Wisconsin-based Irish traditional music trio, The Lilies of the Midwest, known for their distinctive blend of concertina, mandolin, and fiddle. The trio includes former step dancer Charlene Adzima, squeezebox player Kara Rogers, and multi-instrumentalist Jeanna Schultz, accompanied by guest guitarist Rick Nelson. Slipjig, another prominent act, has been performing traditional music from the Celtic nations and Appalachia for over a decade, featuring award-winning vocalist Ruthie McQuinn, along with Michael Duffy on piano and bodhran, and Scott Pedersen on button accordion.
