DUG, a folk duo consisting of Conor O’Reilly and Jonny Pickett, is set to release their debut album in 2024 after forming in 2023. The duo draws on a diverse musical heritage, blending influences from American and Irish folk traditions, and has garnered attention for their engaging songwriting and intricate arrangements featuring resonator guitar and banjo. Following their signing with Claddagh Records, DUG will embark on an extensive international tour in 2025, including performances at major festivals in the US and Australia, as well as various Irish festivals throughout the summer.
